Subcuject is a medical device company developing and commercializing an innovative and proprietary platform for subcutaneous Wearable Bolus Injection (WBI). The device platform applies osmosis as driving force, and offers a unique combination of performance, usability and cost. Subcuject is financed by the venture funds Vaekstfonden and CAPNOVA. New biological pharmaceuticals require delivery of large and highly viscous doses. This drug delivery task requires a new type of injectors; wearable injectors. State of the art injection devices are complex and expensive, with mechanisms and electronics in order to achieve sufficient injection pressure.
